Armed with ruthless tactics and a strict sense of honor, crime boss Frank Lucas (Denzel Washington) rules Harlem’s chaotic drug underworld. When outcast cop Richie Roberts (Russell Crowe) sets out to bring down Lucas’ multimillion-dollar empire, it plunges both men into a legendary confrontation. While Ridley Scott’s crime epic film is set over the course of a number of years, several pivotal scenes take place between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve. And it’s even got Louis Armstrong’s classic rendition of “Winter Wonderland!”
