
The Franklin Theatre’s third annual Summer Sessions program for high school students returns this July!
Hosted by Trey Bruce and a team of industry professionals, this three day intensive will provide students interested in careers in the music industry with an overview of the many paths available to them. Students will be fully immersed into the worlds of songwriting, recording, vocal performance, and business.
Cost of admission is $100 and includes lunch each day.

Day One: Songwriting
Students will work in groups to create an original song, working closely with a professional songwriter to teach principals, tips, and best practices.

Day Two: Recording
Students will be immersed into the world of music production in a working recording studio, and will have the opportunity to record their original song with award winning producers.

Day Three: Music Business and Vocal PerformanceÂ
Students will attend sessions covering publishing, distribution and streaming, marketing, content creation, and branding, and have the opportunity to perform live on The Franklin Theatre stage while receiving guidance on vocal performance, and showmanship.Â
